Biography
Born in 1979 in Himeji City, Hyogo Prefecture,
Japan.
After graduating from the Faculty of Information and
Communication Engineering at Osaka Electro-Communication University in 2001, he spent one
year studying in the United States, then became engaged in the procurement of content and
the launch of new services at a video distribution company that distributes video contents
to mobile phones. Subsequently, after establishing a subsidiary that developed the internet
business of retail companies, he joined Warehouse TERRADA in 2012.
At Warehouse TERRADA, he established a new company called
“Helutrans-Terrada Co., Ltd. (now TERRADA ART ASSIST Co., Ltd.),” that carries out the
transportation, exhibition, and packaging of artistic products in overseas and domestic
locations. The company was created in conjunction with Singapore’s largest art warehouse and
transportation company, Helu-Trans (S) Pte Ltd., and he was appointed as CEO in June
2017.
He has also been engaged in artistic projects centering on
the storage, transportation, and restoration of artworks, including the establishment of the
“TERRADA ART COMPLEX,” which houses a large number of contemporary art galleries, the
“Terrada Conservation and Restoration Course” at the Yokohama University of Art and Design,
and the “TERRADA CONSERVATION LABORATORY,” an arts restoration workshop.
Since his resignation as CEO from TERRADA ART ASSIST Co.,
Ltd. in May 2020, he has been developing various art businesses in Indonesia at MISSAO
CORPORATION.
